Just got back from TRU at Clearwater Countryside in Pinellas County. One Crazylegs on the shelf. . .
Also they had one Red Skull & one Crossbones on the rack. PM me and I'll tell you where I hid them, lol.

In my opinion the movie line fucked everything up, granted there were one or two good figures in that line, but still it fucked everything up.

My first reaction is to agree with you but then I can remember what a pain in the ass it was to even get the 25th stuff before the movie came out. I do believe that a lot of retailers have backed way off of Joes though because of the fact that ROC figures sat for so long on pegs. No thanks to me though as I unfortunately have at least one of each and multiples of many.

Ocala TRU has moved all the Joe stuff to a tiny spot at the back of the aisle. There were a few peg-warmers and a ton of those motorized motorcycles.
Same crap at Target. Huge waste of time.

FYI for you locals - CLW TRU has like two sets of Wave 6 (I believe, not much of a Joe collector). I saw Vipers, SE, Crazy dudes, and IGs.
Happy hunting.

I agree that the movie figures did make the retailers scared. I too remember 25th stuff being hard to find towards the end. But that was due to the retailers choosing not to order enough. This is why so many waves ended up at Big Lots and Family Dollar. To demand was clearly there. Now the movie comes along and the retailers are on board for supporting the line because the missed out on the 25th stuff and there is a movie to support it. Figures will sell like hotcakes!! Yeah...not so much. The figures sucked, the movie was mediocre at best. Retailers have to clearance stuff and they are scared of GIJoe again. Unfortunately GIJoe just doesn't have the lasting fan base of Transformers and Star Wars. While they stay fairly consistant in popularity, GIJoe has it's ups and downs.
I hope they do something big for the 30th line, or JOE fans are screwed.
