The Shock Trooper is overrated, guys. I own two and I'm not impressed - yeah, the initial impact of it's accuracy to real-life uniforms and weapons is cool, but after a while it's sort of lame. His left leg is slightly shorter than his right and if he didn't have his little tampo'd Cobra sigils you'd think he was a Joe.
I know it may be a hollow message coming from someone who already owns them, but trust me... it's all hype - he's not that great. You'll get your chance to buy him in store in time. Tom

I like it the figure but something did not seem right about it, ithink its the head sculpt, it looks like he has a really long neck, so i took a POC beach head head and slapped it on it, it looks better.

I dont know dude, A little work and these shock troopers are frigging loaded for bear! I made some belts and slings for all the weapons with flex-rex. It looks preatty good if I do say so myself (pics comming soon). It kinda reminds me of Resident Evil. They look like a Cobra zombie outbreak contigency team. And just in time for the IDW Infestation series too! I also drove around today and could not find anymore of em. Target on Dadeland and Bird Road had nada. I guess I'll get more of them when they hit TRU.

And don't get me wrong - it's FAR from a 'bad' figure, it's just overhyped. People who don't have it need to chill and just wait instead of offering up potentially useful stuff in trade... in a few months, we'll be as annoyed with the amount of Shock Troops around as we were with the Jungle Vipers. ; ) Tom

Here is what I did. I got some flex-rex and some wire and some crazy glue and went to work on making slings and belts like I have with most of my collection.
From top to bottom: The first is a holster for the shotgun, I designed one like this for Flint originally, This has a single hook to go on the back of the Shock Trooper and hooks to his vest. The next is a sling for his rifle or smg. the last is a belt, removable, it can fit his taser gun or his smg depending on what he needs at the time.

OK so I got home from Target a little bit ago. Was there right before they closed (at the Target in Largo Mall). They had 7 Shock Troopers. I picked up 3 to finish my squad and left 4. They have 3 on the new end caps and 1 in the regular Joe aisle.

Thanks! Any Snake Eyes? If so, I'll probably pick one up tomorrow. And then I'll wait for POC Wave 4 Low-Light.
