The TRU at the Florida Mall in Orlando is very much the same. It's nearest to the airport and to International Drive and theme parks, etc... On the one hand, they do tremendous business so they get new product frequently. On the other, you have to get there 30 min before opening and fight with 16 unwashed dudes(and unwashed wives) who run in and just clean the effing house. I think the "comic" shop across the street that used to be in the hardcore scalping business at that TRU and the KayBee that used to be in the mall is either gone or finally under new ownership. So at least you're down to the intl scalpers *shrugs*

I dont know if this counts but yeah, theres a dude who buys bulk and I mean BULK quantaties at my store. He apparently owns a store in Venezuela so he comes here, goes to TRU, buys like 4 pallets worth of shit, cleans out our aisles and then sells them at quadruple the price in a third world country.
I saw him buying every Monster High doll off the shelf plus everything we had in the back when a little girl approached him and asked if she could have one of the dolls in his cart. The guy said "No, dis iz to sell in Venezuela, I half a biznes, I em sowry!" I thought that was a huge dick move but the little girl's dad was right there and didnt do shit! He was Venezuelan too according to his hat and his shirt so I just figured Eff it! its probably a cultural thing they have. It still pisses me off though cause essentialy exporters are scalpers who take from us and supply people in other countries. I think I've seen that guy in your store before. Don't exporters buy that stuff directly from distributors? It would seem to me they'd get it from them at cost, since they're buying in bulk. Doesn't TRU have some kind of policy against buying in bulk?

Toys R us should have policies against that shit but they dont, The managers gets a fat check as a bonus if they make planned sales for the month so ofcourse they'll let some commie P.O.S. buy out all the stock and poor little Maria gets to go home crying cause her daddy is too much of a pansy to statch that toy outta the scalpers hand.

I think what he was referring to was the guy's country of origin( Venezuela). A communist controlled nation. I could be wrong, but that's what I took from the statement.

Quite correct Scotty, thank you for that. Venezuela's now dead dictator publicly supported Fidel Castro's defunct communist ideals and officialy declared Venezuela a socialist country a few years back. His legally retarded successor still embraces and practises communism to this day.
