Anyone else started collecting the TMNT figures?
At $7.77 each at Walmart they are half the price of a Deluxe Transformers figures and a good alternative to the lack of GI Joe merchandise. The Playset found here is awesome.: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Secret Sewer Lair Playset - Playmates - Toys "R" Us I think it is really cool and a massive piece.

Yes! I was lucky and scored all the wave 1 figures. All the Turtles, Shredder, Foot Soldier, Kraang, and Splinter. Very cool toys from when I was in Elementary school! Strangely I have only seen these at WM. Are they an exclusive?
My favorites are the Turtles themselves and Kraang even though I like his body version better than the robot. I was kind of disappointed with Shredder and Splinter. Articulation is just not there, especially with Splinter's robe. I wonder what wave 2 will bring!

Not even a factor for Celebrations VI in Orlando. Quote:
Come on, a TS or possibly Cat 1? Just a breezy day. It is a multiple day event, just like the RNC. They will wait and see. If it truly looks like it will be a significant impact, then I am sure they will make a tough call. Same with the RNC. Personally I hope the storm floats right over Tampa on Monday. Poetic justice for the political douchebags that are forcing the closure of all the major roads I use to get to work! That and it will be hilarious to know the dumbass protestors will be swimming back to their tents... that floated away.

My son surprised me a couple of weeks ago. He just started school for the first time (he's 5) and I was talking to him about what to expect and that I wanted him to be good and stuff and he said "If I'm good will you buy me a new toy I saw on TV?" Turns out he saw the Ninja Turtles teaser and wanted me to buy him some. I thought it was awsome that he was into it without me ever talking to him about it. I ended up buying him the 4 turtles this past week at TRU at 8.99 a piece. I refuse to buy toys at Walmart since they refuse to stock Joes.

I don't do comics or super-hero figures, so Turtles it is!

Tyrone Square Toys R Us had 2 Alley Vipers, 2 Cobra Shock Troopers, 1 Shadow Tracker, 1 Skydive and 1 City Strike Firefly!
Plus found the new Regular Show figures (in 3", in 6" and plush) and Hanna Barbera figs (in 3", 6" and plush). Finally, I scored an Evil Dead 2 Hero Ash and Henrietta at last!!
