Got a Crimson Hiss Tank at the Marshalls in Pinellas Park. They also had a Black Dragon VTOL and some CA:FA figures. Kinda weird that they had regular figs and some deluxe figs for the same price($5.99). They also had a IM2 Whiplash but the paint apps looked horrid to me.
Then I went to the Target in the same center hoping for some cheap Retaliation 3-packs, but they were full price again. :( |

onto the subject about the paint.. I never knew it was like that, I might want to save my money and not even tempt to go through all the trouble.. I'm glad you just told me all that. I woulda been kickin my own ass... I do have one question though, Is their any way to tighten leg sockets on joes. I tried to tighten the screws but that didnt work, I bought a 2 pack for wild weasel, and his legs are a bit loose.... I also don't really want to pay to get another one, but I'm thinking It might come down to that..
As for the knee joints, I usually add a little bit of paint or nail enamel to the ball joint, let it dry and then re assemble.

Dont get discouraged man, The paint usually wont stick to elbow, shoulder and knee joints. Its a different type of plastic. The rubbery plastic on the arms, torso, head ect is alot more forgiving.

I know this is a bit off topic but bear with me.
Does anyone here like Speed Metal? not the G.I. Joe no, Im talking about the type of music. If you know what it is then awsome your well versed in music gerne. If not then its like Heavy Metal but alot faster paced, often a little melodic. Anyway there is a band called Powerglove. They do video game and cartoon show soundtracks into metal versions. They are pretty good if you like that type of thing. They did a metal cover of the Transformers intro and its kinda badass: They even metaled up Batman and Power Rangers. Anyway they will be here in South FL at the Speakeasy in Lake Worth this Wednesday night. Im gonna go see them with a couple of friends and pester them about doing a GI Joe metal cover. I dont know how and im open to suggestions but its a small club and it shouldnt be too hard to chat them up a bit.
