OK OK OK! My dad bought me a couple of 12 inch Joes back in the late 90s. Then he introduced me to his 1964 Joes. I still have them.
Then one day I saw a comercial....... I was still just 10 or 11 but I went balistic and ran to my mom yelling out in excitment so much that she thought something bad happend. Next theng I remember, I was collcting Joe vs. Cobra, Spy Troops and Valor vs. Venom. When I heard of the live action Joe movie coming out I got excited and found out they released 25th anniversary figures but never collected them cuase of my dad saying "you are too old" and guys at my school saying "If you get a girl friend and she sees your Dolls she will dump you". So I instead read the comics. Thats how I met Mussashi over here. He worked at the borders that was in dolphin mall before it got bought out. When I first met him he told me about Joecon 2011 and that it was in orlando. I was like "HOLY FREAKEN CRAP WE CAN DRIVE THERE EASILY!" Thats when I started to finnaly collect Joes(I also found out about the hot babes that are also into Joe.) Also, Becuase Im just a military buff and I plan to join the army(thats another story I'll explain later if you want). I would also like to tell the story on how I was picked on in elementry for liking G.I.Joe instead of you-gi-oh or pokeman. Just so all you know. Im 19. I was 16 when I got back into Joe. |

Dude, That's a kick ass story.. Wish I had 1964 joes, and someone to guide me, Unfortunatly I was the first born in the family, and only got the chance to influence. Look bro, Don't worry about what other people say.. G.I. Joe is all out hardcore, and now that weve got movies people are shuting up... now most that I know are saying G.I. Joe rocks... I say It always had.. you guys were just to dumb to notice...lol.. We do what we do, because It's what makes us happy, and In the end nothing matters anyways. So you keep doing what you do. You only get to live life once. I got plenty of hot G.I. Joe girlfriends that I chill with. Were all geeks at heart, but that's my crew.. We have fun, and we party hard. I was bullied in school too. For liking MOTU, pokemon and yugio, and all that shit has nothing on Joes, MOTU, and Transformers ect.. We had all the good stuff growing up. That's why it's all back.. Bullied from 4th to 7th, It sucked, but when I moved here from Ohio. That all changed, Dude I hated Ohio, and to this day I still never been back, Not even to visit my dad, But If and When you ever go into the army.. I just wanna say good luck. I'm 33 by the way..

Bought an Avengers movie version Black Widow today. Neat figure except for the rubbery lower legs. She is my new Cobra undercover operative/spy. She mates then she kills! :P
I was going to get Hawkeye but his head looked too big and was painted as opposed to flesh colored plastic like his arms so it looked weird.

I've seen quite a bit of everything. I've gotten 5 Red Ninja. I've seen a decent amount of Joe Troopers but still no blue capes.

. Im honored bro. Also I find it really hard to believe you were actually "bullied" in school bro. Your a pretty buff guy! I know your not violent or anything and your a good man for it but I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to look at you and go "yeah I can take him!" Also your dad is a tough dude, you inherited his charisma I can tell. Im sure those punks in school just had a pack mentality and excluded you for no being of the same hive-mind. I'm looking forward to Joecon man, Last year I was only allowed so little time to be there casue of my family being over at the Disney parks with my kids. This year I got the hotel room right above the convention, my kids and wife are gonna be attending with me so I'll have all the time in the world to just chill and attend some panels with you and yours bro.

Anyone still looking for lifeline, I found two a various CVS stores. The reg price is 14.99 - 15.99 depending on the store but they are marked down to 11 - 12 dollars. Also found a zombie viper at the busch and 40 th st CVS, and the S.S. at one I think in Temple Terrace. So not only is Walgreens restocking, but CVS as well. I choked on the lifeline price but it was cheaper than evilbay. Also seem Walgreens is stocking the city strike cobra trooper, but 10.99 -11.99 is a bit steep for foder or troop building.
