Damn, I think we're all going through the "No Joe" syndrome right now! I stopped at the Clearwater Wal-Mart on US 19 and Old Coachman road and was so desperate that I purchased The Avengers Rocket Grenade Captain America x2 (Masked and Unmasked versions). THAT'S how desperate I am for new toys!

Like musashi I am going through withdrawals. I bought a Renegade Firefly from Walgreens. I'm not even sure if I have one already or not. I gotta look through my bins. I was just like, oh snap, a GI Joe! Whoosh...
Not to mention my mouse broke and I had to buy a new one today. It is way better than my old one but somehow I feel all hollow inside. lol.

I am so surprised by this. We have tons of stores that could carry Joes, and in the past we have been treated pretty well. No idea why the Tampa Bay area is like a joe ghost town.

I think the withdrawal is worsened by the fact that we had an age of abundance and satiety not long ago. I know i troop-built like a madman. It took some hunting, but most of us got most of the figures we wanted from retail (as in: i never found a Jungle Viper, but i did find POC Hawk, Rock Viper, and even passe on Freefall and Croc Master). We also could get the ones we missed, like 25th, HoH, ROC, Resolute, and POC Spirit and Quick Kick. Now, it's dry. Eventhough i never relied on it, i miss K-Mart as an alternative. Against all supply-and-demand logic, Walmart and Target refuse to restock in a timely manner. Marshalls and TJ Maxx are ripe with unwanted Star Wars figures. Ross has the eternal ROC Viper 3-pack and an occasional Ashiko. Tuesday Morning still holds on to 2-3 ROC figures. Big Lots hasn't had any joes in ages... and they raised their prices on World Peacekeepers.
I'm starting to get used to the idea of never owning a Renegades SS. I would still appreciate if someone gives me a heads up should they see it in stores (I have not seen those wrestling chicks or that Thor, i always look). I've turned to buying Transformers Prime Cyberverse figures! Help! |

It seems it's that way all over. All the WMs around here suddenly sprouted pegs for them, but then just as quickly as they stocked a case or two, they took the pegs down to one or two. And there's been little to no restock since. The only restock I've seen was at TRU and it was a case of 3 and a case of 4 for their BOGO sale. No Zombies or SS of course.

I've been lucky enough to get several Zombies, but nowhere near as many as I want, lol. I've got the army building disease bad. I've got nearly 40 of each the new Viper and Cobra Trooper. BATs, over 100. I've only got like 12 Zombies. I need about 40 more or so. Some will laugh. I'm not kidding.
