Miami people are......different....er I dont wanna get banned for offending anyone but trust me dude, the population down here is another breed althogether. Talking to people does work here but only on three very unique conditions.
1. they share same interests i.e. they are also Joe fans or transformer afficionadoes, or you went to the same University and have school color tattoos on your necks, or your members of the same mafia family ect.. 2. They are firends or family. Example: When I was in college I worked at TRU and now the manager hooks me up with info and first dibs on stuff. 3. You pay them. I offered a guy 10 bucks 4 days ago to let me look at the pallets in his stock room cause I knew he had the new wave. he refused, I came back the next morning and sure enough they had re-stocked. Galactron and I got the last of the figures and someone had already beat me by a few hours to the majority. Im not saying talking to people and being friendly and polite dossent work, it does. Just as much as being friendly and polite gets you off from police giving you a ticket despite going 55 in a school zone. that by the way did work for me but only once in my life.

On a positive note, I got some good stuff coming from BBTS for Christmas. Other than that, just the same crap at the local stores. I only recon like twice a month lately. Gas and patience wearing thin.

Since getting let go a month ago, I've not been hunting much. Reasons being twofold and obvious: I'm not bringing in hardly any $, and it costs gas to drive the 30 miles just to be disappointed or if I'm really lucky find a figure or two. Probably going to end up going the BBTS or Kokomo Route. Save me the time, scratch and heartbreak.
Thanks for the heads up, though! |

Hah! Musashi, you couldn't be more right. Whenever I see a retail employee, I treat them like they're on some sort of prison release program. XD

Please stop talking. The amount of insider information that you have is exactly zero.
Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

Miami is different...It's another world from anything north of Palm Beach...There is a huge peasant class in Miami that deals with everything in their own way..Hialeah TRU can sometimes be a great
store to locate items...But, you need your passport to get in and out there...In Hialeah traffic lights are only a suggestion, there's chickens in every backyard and machetes are used to cut the lawn!!! |

Went to Bealls today and they want $24.99 for the cancelled ROC Alpha Stuff. Then I went to Ross and they had a Polar Sharc for $7.99. Marshall's had ROC figures (Rex, Charbroil, Red Ninja) for $3.99. All stores I visited were in Sanford.
