I saw it last night at the Brandon TRU. The box is huge. I passed on it because I know I wouldn't be happy with it in my collection. It is nice, but it just won't fit in for me. It costs $40 for those that didn't already know. Check end caps, that is where I saw them at.

My local Wal-mart finally has Joes! For the longest time they had nadda, then last week I popped in there to check for Thundercats stuff when what should I spy? Yep, some POC figures. Wave 1, but POC nonetheless. I bought the Firefly for good measure (he's one of my all-time faves) and took that as a positive sign the store would be carrying some of the new product later in the year. Little did I know, stuff would hit so soon. On my visit today, I saw the Hazard Viper and an IG from the 30th line, but that was it. Either that's all they got or everything else was already wiped out. Whatever the case, I'm just glad Wal-mart is now another viable option for my hunts.

So I stopped at the TRU next to International Mall, just wanted to pick up a couple of Thundercat toys for my son. I see they got the C-130. I wanted it from the begining despite the short commings of the True Heroes line. The cheap plastic, the bulky proportions, the colorfull red and orange guns.
I have to say after assembling it and playing "Operation Thundercat Drop" with my son, this plane is bad ass! The scale of the thing is alot closser then most of thier toys. Its like the Apache and the Blackhawk rather then the Transport truck and Humvee. I didnt add the silly little guns sticking out the side and it just looks better that way, the plastic is cheep sure but alot thicker and bulkier then on the blackhawk. The red guns in the front light up and most GI Joe toys on my shelves have colorfull neon guns anyway so I can look past that. Its alot bigger then I thought it would be, its massive and that just makes it so awsome to me! I love this freaking plane!

My local Wal*Mart has been teasing me for weeks now...they've had print outs of the new "planogram" listed in the toy aisle...with clear notations for G.I.Joe and where the figures will go..
But the bottom of the sheet reads "to be implemented week of 08/15)... (O_o) That was last week! Gimme some Hazard Vipers WM! pleeeeeeeeeease As McS said though, it was very nice to see actual Joes on the pegs. They must've found a revision case of wave 1/2, as the entire two waves were out. Picked up Jungle Duke and Dusty as I didn't have them yet...but left behind Recondo, Firefly, Snowjob, Alley Viper, Night Viper and of course, Destro, for those who might have missed out on them the first time around (because we all know that Destro has been near impossible to find in the wild =/ ) |

Just scored the entire 30th wave 1 at the Kendall TRU, they had about 3 cases worth out on the shelves, got what I needed and left the rest.
