I feel so dirty for picking up Low Light for $9.95 at TRU today. It was just a revision case of mostly Dukes and SS with Shock trooper, Jungle viper, Beachhead, Skydive and Lowlight. And that was just 1 case on the pegs. Zeller's has no new figures around here. Where's wave 4?

here's a question i gave to joecanuck for the newest hasbro q&a why did wave 4 cases not see a canadian card release? this has severely reduced the number of wave 4 figures available to canadians. wave 4 cases where 3 of each of the 4 figures. the US carded revision cases being sold in canada don't have destro or shadow tracker and only 1 per case of skydive and low-light. i wanted to buy 6 shadow trackers. i could be wrong about shadow tracker, as i have yet to find just 1. did you not take this into consideration when deciding not to give us wave 4 cases?

Yes they are english only cards. Never noticed.
Collecting joes is becoming more of a chore than fun now days. Even for our american friends. The joe line just isn't selling and the retailers aren't committed beyond a case. It's really disheartening to see Halo take up more shelf space. Halo won't be around in 10 years time. Joe will be. Just in a different form. Star Wars collectors have it easy. I only bought the P.O.C. stuff because it was in abundance everywhere. It made it fun again. Now G.I. Joe has all but disappeared from stores and the urge to buy anything has pretty much evaporated.

Grabbed what new figures I could at the "Frank & Son" flea market down here in LA last Saturday. They had everything new you could want, but way overpriced. I refused to pay more than $12 for things, so I skipped Shadow Tracker @ $18. Iron Grenadier was also highly overpriced.

Hey guys for those in Toronto Silver Snail has Wave 6 (Crazy Legs, Rock-Viper, etc) figs and a bunch of previous POC waves. No Low-Lights at the moment though.
None of the Toronto Wal-Marts, Zellers or TRUs I’ve checked have gotten any new Joes in awhile. Anyone know any other good places to check in Toronto/Mississauga/Scarborough? |

Same here in Ottawa. I saw two Wal-marts which got in revision cases and that was it. None of the other stores, (Zellers, TRU etc...) have had any G.I. Joe at all since before Xmas. The closest TRU to me doesn't even have a Joe section anymore. Heck even my local comic store which brings in everything under the sun has stopped ordering G.I. Joe. Everything they have left in the store is on clearance as well.

Nah. The two waves after wave 4 had nothing which interested me so I kind of decided to call it quits. I'm getting too old for this anyway, lol.
