Anyone have any Marshall's luck? I haven't had time to get out to any, but I've been to both TJ Maxx and Ross and nada.

Sadly, I've given up.
Between this and the online only shenanigans around the Wave 5 vehicles I think I'm done with this line and won't be buying G.I. Joe anymore. :-( It's very frustrating that something so simple as completing the Mass device or aquiring a basic staple of the like such as the Vamp and Flak have to be made so expensive due to either poor distribution planning, scalping, or whatever the case. I just want to be able to walk into toys r us and buy this stuff for me and my kid. ugh. Anyway, I'm keeping all the ones my son and I opened for us to play with buy I still have nearly the entire 25th (foil) collection carded that I'm going to sell off at basically face value. If anyone is looking for any carded figures give me a hollar and I'll give you first dibs tanker privs before I sell them through my store on CCL (link in my sig) or eBay. |

Hey, quick thing actually regarding Star Wars. I have collected basically 99% of the Star Wars figures released since 1995 and being that I am an opener I have like a ton of Star Wars card backs and they were just basically opened, ya know, I didn't get out the razor blade and cut the bubbles off. Also, if there was a proof of purchase on the card I cut that off. Anyway, I have held on to these for years but now I gotta get rid of them and I feel bad just recycling them. Anyway, I tried to look around a couple of Star Wars sites for advice but I couldn't really find any good category for this situation. So, I ask you, my Joe brethren, what should I do?
Thanks in advance!

DJ, check out the trade threads on Rebelscum.com, and offer them up there. Best site for trading/selling star wars stuff that I've ever found. Some cool guys around there too, someone might be interested.
Also, anyone looking for Marvel Legends (does anyone collect those anymore?!), there's a random GREEN variant quicksilver at the Tacoma TJ Maxx off Union Ave. Box is pretty beat up, but I remember people going a bit nuts over that one when he came out. Two of each of DVD packs #1 and #2, nothing besides those though. EDIT: TJ MAxx, not Ross. I get them confused, they're like the same place...

Hit up all the Puyallup stores today.
Big Lots - nothing Joe related whatsoever Wal-Mart - a single Scrap-Iron/Wild Bill comic pack, and some leftover Combat Heroes. Target - clearanced Wild Bill, CC w/ element, and 2 Rippers, all at $4.88 (so retail a year ago!); they also had 3 clearanced Python Patrol jets at $17.88 a pop. Had some of the new RoC Combat Heroes (looks strikingly like the Hulk stuff from a bit ago). Nothing else of interest. TRU - CG/Green shirt 5-packs at regular price; a bunch of the SRO packs; all the regular TRU stuff All in all, found nothing remotely interesting, and no RoC stuff save the Combat Heroes at Target.

Hey all, new to the boards here, though I've been collecting Joe stuff off and on since the 80's. If you frequent the TFW2005 boards, I'm over there as well.
I was at the Tacoma Target today and they had four small vehicles, 2x each. I picked up a Mole Pod and left the rest. They also had the RoC Combat Heroes and a handful of figures like Ripcord, Sgt Stone, Zartan, Covergirl, Scarlet, Deep Six, Shipwreck, and 2 versions of Heavy Duty. The Lakewood Target is all set, but no product. When I asked, I was told the street date was 7/10. I didn't feel like arguing about it that the Tacoma store had some stuff out already. Yo Joe! |

I've seen the ROC figures at TRU and 2 different Targets. I've seen just about all of the single carded figures that are out (I think) but have yet to find the Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes (probably the one I want the most) and the unmasked Storm Shadow. It looks like most of the stores in the Seattle area are observing the 7/4 revised street date.
