The majority of the stuff Joe related tended to focus on vintage figures, Retaliation figures purchased at FiveBelow & Dolar General and marked up to ten bucks, and dusty/dirty (literally) incomplete vintage vehicles. I had to explain to one guy, who "bought a collection from someone" that he wasn't getting $500 for a broken dirty Terrordrome, $100 for a Hydrofoil, $50 for a Conquest body, and $15 each for Dollar General Joes on bent/warped cards. Next time I walked by his booth he had up a sign that said "show special, all Joes 50% off". Arctic? ...or Jungle? Last edited by BIGJIM; 03-23-2015 at 08:46 AM.. |

I would gladly pay $10 for some of the Five Below troop builders. Those are some of the best ones and you can't exactly find them there anymore.

One guy actually did have a few Dukes, Combat Ninjas, and Flints...they just weren't selling. I would have caved but I already got five or six each from FB already. |

Show was pretty much a bust as far as Joes go, but DarthTim had a very nice modern selection. Good seeing you again.

There were two guys there who had no clue what they had, and they both looked like out of place flea market guys who came across a bunch of toys and were trying to flip them for a quick buck. The one was the guy I told to drop his prices, the other guy had a bunch of partial vehicles that literally looked like they had been covered in dirt and dust since the 80's, and were never cleaned off. One of them was a Defiant with a big faded area on the cockpit, like it sat in front of a window and never moved for about a decade.
