It's a vicious circle.
Years ago, I sold the bulk of my vintage Joes to buy modern SW stuff. Since then, I've grown bored with Hasbro putting out the same SW every year with minor differences and have moved more to modern Joes. Now that I have almost everything I want (that's been released) Joe-wise, I'll be saving a lot of money as I pick and choose SW again. I may just say screw it and eventually invest more time and money into my other hobby...guns and shooting. Damn! BigJim we are alike! The samething happened with me, but instead of Starwars, I got into Transformers new and old. I had so much of old joes and made good money off it and then i made the biggest mistake ever? I bought the POC Firefly and then i was hooked from there on and haven't looked back with new and modern Joes. All I can say is if Hasbro really flops on these new waves that coming out one of two things will happen 1) I'll say screw GI Joe ill start collecting 3rd party Transformers since they're better than Hasbro junk or 2) I'll get back in racing and building engines again! I'm looking for an 87 Buick Grand National to play with. I would say guns, but i have my trusty Remington 870 and my S&W .357 and my house is protected by both! |

Right now i would say the two worst places looking for Joes is Meijer and Kmart in the tri-state area! Anyone can get lucky with TRU and Walmarts at any time. Cant say anything about Target, but still no reports of anyone seeing any Eaglehawks there. |

LOL! thats pretty cool! I bought FF and you bought BH and both are city strike themed. My second was Desert Storm Shadow with the chain and the two swords connect and then Zartan and like you said its all down hill and end of story. |

Kenwood TRU had wave 2 Kreo minifigs. I say "had" because the only thing I saw was an empty display. I'm so glad I don't collect these things. They are such a pain to find.
