Hey Laser,
I stopped by Walmart in Beavercreek this morning. 8 pegs for Joes. 7 1/2 pegs were empty. 1 peg had x2 CC (wave 5 or 6?), x3 Hawk and x3 Blowtorch if your still looking for him. I also went to BC TRUS and they have ZERO Wave 5 or 6 Joes :(. Is it just me or does Star Wars figures finally look like they are slowing down. TRUS had slim pickings. Walmart has about 100+ Clone Troopers, (Cody, 501st etc). All I ever see nowadays is version 254 Anakin, version 757 ObiWon and a bunch of Troopers. Not bothering with Dayton mall TRU cause its all Transformers, Starwars and Cars 2 movie stuff. Even my wallys has slowed down on Starwars stuff, mostly because theres no place to hang or put the new Transformers movie stuff. Keep me posted on anything new, still needing, Vipers, Officers, IG's SB's and Jungle BATS as well. |

Has anyone else noticed the epic FAILS that are the Green lantern figures? they don't even bend at the elbow or the knee. You just know stores (especially Walmart) are going to be stuck with them for ever... who ever the buyer is for Walmart needs to have his/her head examined.
Did they learn anything from Iron Man 2? and those figures were cool. ...sad

I wish toy departments ordered toys like the old days of the 80's and 90's. When I worked at Meijer I got to know the toy dept manager. When ECW wrestling was Huge, I bought a couple of the ECW figures. Then I realized that the ECW figures one day will be like the AWA Remco figures. So I would buy them everytime they hit the pegs.
What the Toy Dept manager would do would pull out his order book and check the box for ECW figures and scan 1 box, or 2 boxes etc. The toy department rocked. Always had product in stock. They hardly ever had to clearance product like stores today. I am sorry but I think it would be much better to order IM 2, IM3 figures buy the case instead of the skid. I like seeing only a few Thor and Captain America figures on the shelf because I know those won't be sitting 40 deep on the pegs like IM 2 and stores will be able to move those quicker and make room for Joes Quote:

TJ Maxx in Norwood had two of each of the POC mechs. I grabbed one of the Deviants, but the rest are still there. They are $9.99

I love Green Lanterns. I buy just about anything Green Lantern. But I will not buy those things. They are horrible just like the Infinite Heroes they had. Mattel just needs to stick with the 6 inch figures.

Remnants of wave 5 at Wal-Mart in St. Clairsville and Steubenville. Not a Steel Brigade to be found, but the St. C one did have 2 Jungle BATs and 2 troopers.
