I for sure want to buy a handful of the Samurai figure. The backs of the package has a barcode but all the barcodes are the same style and the UPC # are all the same. Thanks for the tip on the dots on the back of the packages.

TRU in Kenwood has the Lego minifigs. They had 2 open cases, but probably only enough figures to fill 1 case.
They had them immediately to the right as you walk into the store in that little section that hold a bunch of random little toys; not in the Lego section or in the checkouts.

Wow, I am DONE with the Dayton Mall TRUs. I tried calling them at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday December 5, 2010. I got a voice recording that says "The store is now closed. We will open tomorrow at 9 a.m." I thought that is really weird. I called back at 6pm. Same recording.
So I called 3 times on Monday, 3 times and Tuesday and twice today. Same recording. So I called the Beavercreek TRUs and spoke with an asst mgr. I asked what is going on with the Dayton Mall store. The employee said "Oh, that's typical. The manager over there usually turns the phone off and kicks on the recording during the month of Decemeber because they get so busy." WTF!?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me. The LAST real "toy store", not department store, not toy aisle at Kroger or CVS. The LAST "toy store" and they pull a stunt like this. Great way to keep the company going. Just when I thought wally world had bad customer service this tops it all. |

Eastgate Wal-Mart has a VAMP in stock.
...they had a Fury and a single Alley-Viper, but i struck again. side note: anyone else weirded out by how small the Fury's box is? they had the VAMP and Fury side-by-side, with their edges facing out, so it wasn't sure what it was till i picked it up. the Alley-Viper Officer's card barely fits on the side of the box! |

Haven't seen a Fury yet, but I thought that about the Snowcat (Wolf Hound). I like it. They take up less room in my storage.
Who needs a fully assembled, partially stickered, vehicle on display in a big plastic box? Not this guy. I like assembling them... like a model set for dummies

TRU in Boardman had an AWE Striker and Ice Cutter. They still have the Ice Cutter.

I have information: First off went to TRU by the Dayton mall yesterday for the B1GET2Free sale and TRU didnt have a damn one of any type of Joe figure of any line! Plenty of Mechs which TRU is $2.00 higher than anywhere else, 1 HISS and 1 Snow Wolf thats it.
Second, nabbed HoH Fire Fly and SS from Beavercreek TJM and they have more, but see some collectors in there grabbing some Joes. Third, for those who want the AWE Strike and Ice Cutter, check your local Meijers, a friend just told me they have for either $13.99 or $14.99, still cheaper than Wallys and Target. |
