I have had the exact same thing happen with the patches on Stalker, Dusty, and a few on Flint. I reglued them and they look fine.

Same here. My patches from Dusty and Stalker came unglued after having them on display on my bookshelf for a few months. I just glued them back and they are as good as new.
The Viper's patches are still good. I was worried since they are larger.

Check the Sideshow Freaks board's old threads about those figures. Some people really hated the velcro from the start, removed it, and used fabric glue to secure the patches. Duke's thread probably has the most info, since he was the first.

Or just don't put on the patches, if you can live with it looking a little generic. ;-)

My dusty had them all fall off. Like others, I just glued back on and they're fine. The worse problem was the stickers coming off the grenades and stuff
