Ummm. Timber looks good. Can't get past the grey head. The uniform looks too mushy - no definition of equipment... No character. Just comes off as some guy wearing all black tactical gear and a thick, black sweater jacket.
Other than the visor being smaller, and Timber, I don't see this release as an improvement over the first one. |

Since he is all black, pics don't do him justice. SSC did an outstanding job on tweaking the v1 head sculpt. He looks menacing with that leather mask and goggles.
The jacket adds to the "winter" look of him, like when he was at his cabin in the woods with Timber. Not sure about that thin undershirt - doesn't look like it was meant to be displayed without the jacket on. I've seen some customs with the ACI military sweater on him and it looks way better. Converted my to a Flex Pay so I'll get him sometime early next year, so can't wait. I'm getting tons of ideas for mine by seeing everyone else's interpretation. And yeah, that first SSC version of Snake-Eyes is looking like the "teen" version now. Amazing how much taller this new version is compared to the previous. I really don't see a use for the included visor head sculpt...maybe for a custom or for Zartan as he tries to impersonate old Snakes...

Got mine yesterday and love it! I was a little worried about the goggles too, but when it arrived, they looked awesome. The pre-release photos make them seem smaller, don't know if they changed them or not. If they did, it wasn't much. Still a great looking figure. Now I can't wait for Bludd!

I don't have the first one butI am so glad I got this one like others said the pictures really don't do justice to that figure it looks a lot better in hand and I really don't see the point of the complaints on the sweater it's fine if you ask me
and I didn't had much trouble posing Timber even though he is heavy I guess some have stiffer leg joints than others |

I get the standard versions of these figures at a discount from my local comic guy but he said he cant get a discount on the exclusive versions as a result I have only ever purchased the exclusive head for Rock n Roll and the cepter/staff/sword thingy for Cobra Commander, but this Timber head appeals to me the more I see it.
Hopefully someone parts one out soon then maybe I can pick it up. Overall a very good looking figure and I cant wait to get him on Saturday

I love it. its very nice. I have to say the googles are not as blue compared to the picts. mine are very black., so thats nice
Some adjustments I added. - added a pair of knee pads - some t-knives - and picked up the original SE sword from black ops toys.
