As emanored as I am with the superior quality of these works of art, have to question the characters their deciding to put out.
Snakes Eyes: I understand that SE is the most popular JOE and any verision of SE is going to move units, BUT did we really NEED a SE in his "green suit," uniform?
Ninja Over Kill. Sideshow needs to "stall out," on the ninjas. There's so many characters in the COBRA Command that could make e.g. Snow Serpents, Eels, (hopefully in a redesigned uniform,) a pilot, a medic, COBRA troopers and officers in a full dress uniform. That brings us to named characters
When are we going to get:
The Baroness
Destro
Major Bludd
The Twins, (hopefully in a Crimson Guard uniform. I personally hated the circus suits,)
For the JOES
Scarlett
Grunt
Snow Job
Doc
Lady Jaye
The Soft Master
Roadblock
Ace
Gung Ho
I think Sideshow needs to release some of characters before they give us another ninja; actually they need to stop releasing ninjas.

The CG will be here soon and, even though I hate it, it is a nice addition. The roster is expanding, slowly but surely. The good thing is all the recent figures have been home runs.
As for the ninjas, it's pretty simple- they're cheap to make. Same reason we have tons of troopers and officers. They're basically like a repaint. They save a lot of money because the tooling is already there. So it gives us a new figure but also allows nearly zero turnaround time from announcement to release.

Let me say this: if the Firefly didn't pulle me into Sideshow collecting (and it didn't), nothing will. I love the work Sideshow puts into these. I love the articulation, the detail, the accessories. The scale is perfect for all of those things. However, for me, cost and space and an overall prohibitive. That's just the way it is. But as a fan who likes looking at stuff on the Internet, I think it would be awesome to see more Sideshow characters with a greater variety produced.

No Vehicles, posing is not nearly as easy ( the clothing can be restrictive at times), and you have this feeling that you just paid well over 100 bucks for 1 figure when you could have gotten a case of figures for that much... Like fireflyguy, I now just prefer to ogle at them on the web...

They dont make a huge ammount of these figures and then you have the regular versiond that may or may not sell out so that hurst their revs. I dont think they should stop/hold back on anything they are doing and just keep it going. They are doing something right to keep pumping out incredible figures like my recent Zartan and Firely the hands down best figure they have ever done. So more power to em....

(I'm guessing that Sideshow drops a figure every quarter,) I think that theoretically, that Sideshow can use the same principle with other characters. Sideshow does such a good job, they should venture out and create an entirely new character. I just feel the ninjas are starting be overkill, and the COBRA Desert trooper was a dud. Really though, who's trying to army build COBRA Desert Troopers?

They're not wasting a spot in the line by releasing another Ninja or trooper, they're simply keeping product on the shelf. The release of the Black Dragon Ninja didn't take the place of a future figure, it simply gave us something to buy while they develop their new figures. It takes time for them to design, develop and release a figure. So why not have essentially ” repaints” released to keep the interest up and money flowing in? Personally, I like the ninja repaints
