My Desert Ops Officer is finally here.

Thanks for the pics. I broke down and finally ordered one.
I knew I wanted one and didn't want to pay more later if I waited. Would you or anyone else want a desert trooper if SS
offered one? I'd brake down and get one of those too I'm afraid.

I get mine next week...can't wait after seeing your pics. Didn't know his gun had that attachment.

They need to make these in the 3 3/4 line. Bad Ass!!

Got this guy yesterday. I found it interesting that he came with all of his pouches and buttpack on the figure already, so he wasn't the puzzle that Dusty and the Ninja Viper were to gear up. Simple compared to those two, and I think he could do with at least one more handgun magazine and some frag and smoke grenades, but still very cool looking and easy to get into poses. I'm looking forward to the Desert Sniper that I should be receiving Monday.

It looks a little like a rifle-propelled grenade, but it is a suppressor on the muzzle of his AK-74:

His rifle did not come with a sling, but it could be folded up and tucked into the straps of his buttpack:

One big problem I had with him was that the bayonet doesn't attach properly to his rifle. It looks like it was designed for a different weapon and just tossed on him. So really, he has a small knife instead of a bayonet. Oh well.

@ Discomite - didn't know the knife was a bayonet, too bad it doesn't fit the gun.

Amazing details, I like how angry his face looks. Wish I could buy the Sideshow figures, they would be a lot of fun to do a dio-story with.
