DIC or Sigma Six?

So I have some extra money and thought I would pick up an animated series instead of some figures this payday. But I can't decide. I know I'm going to wait and get the official releases of the Sunbow but I want something to tide me over tell 1.3 comes out. That is where the DIC of S6 comes in. I just don't know which to get.

DIC has that whole childhood rose colored glasses thing going for it. But I have never seen S6. Anyone want to make a suggestion? If you are going to vote other though please make a suggestion.

DiC will have more nostalgia value. You'll be like, whoah, it's cool to see this-or-that in animated form. However, truth be told, I sort of liked the Sigma Six animated interpretation of GIJOE. Other than that horrible kid and his robot dog.

I'm the opposite, I've seen Sigma 6 but not the DIC series...
totally agree with BJ... don't judge it by the first few episodes, then enjoy the rest.

Dic is the best thing to ever happen to GI Joe.

Are you being serious or is that sarcasm I hear?

There are quite a few local shows that go on around here and there are people who have obtained copies of said shows.

Falcon on drugs? Yeah...not in my joe-verse. After seeing both, I say Sigma Six. Is S6 as nostalgic? No. Does S6 have Lady Jaye in it...no. But I still liked a new storyline & animation style over a desperate attempt to keep the old series and characters alive. And don't even get me started on Grid-Iron, yeesh.

PS: I just wish they made a Sigma-6 version of Scarlett! Everyone else was made!

Well that horrible robotic dog was the key to the S6 series, if I recall. But yeah, the kid annoyed me too.

IMO, The DiC series was way too campy for G.I. Joe, no offense Headman.
I liked Sigma 6 because it was more military than DiC. And, the Snake-Eyes vs. Storm Shadow fight scenes were good! Due to the fact that there were Japanese in the studio doin' Anime.
