I loved both the Sunbow and DIC series when I was a kid. I got the boxed set and tried to watch the show again, watched like 5 episodes and well... I just can't. It was great as a little kid but even with the nostalgia factor both are unwatchable to me now. I rather keep the show as a fond memory of my childhood, watching now takes away from the legacy. I still watch the 3 mini series and the movie though, they are timeless classics.

I have watched a few episodes of the Sunbow cartoon. The DIC version, ugh.

I so hated watching the toy and comic commercials that Sunbow was still producing as I was so anxiously awaiting for new episodes every Fall of '87, '88, and '89.

Dic Season 2 isn't really bad at all. It's silly, but it's silly fun. Didn't like Dic Season 1 much outside of Metalhead's Mother.

Where else will you see CC defeated by a Corgi?

Plus, IMO, Ted Harrison is a better Duke than Michael Bell. Just something instantly likable about how he tells Falcon to shut up.
