Where to find original series dvds?

Does anyone know where to find the complete set of the original joe series dvds? I've tried to order from a few different websites but they are just burns of the originals and don't work. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Rhino had box sets a few years ago, but lost the rights before they finished the series. They went as far as half of season 2.

The two mini-series that preceded the show was released as well, but that's discountinued also.

Right now your best bet is to pick up the DVD Battle Packs.

Thanks. I have the 2 packs out right now and am waiting for the next 3. I was hoping to find a boxed set of the originals because there are so many more episodes to see that what is on the battle packs.

You could try Amazon or E-bay but I'm not sure of the price anymore. Last time I looked they were a little steep.

i've got all three rhino sets, and the movie.. took me forever to find them and they weren't cheap.

then i happened to come across this:

which is everything minus the dic stuff which a can do without anyways.
So yeah, i supported piracy, but if rhino had've put out the second half of season two, i wouldn't have had to.
figure i'll get rid of the originals at some point, i dunno.

I found one of the Rhino boxed sets at a flea market!

I hit it lucky one day at a local flea market. I found the G.I. Joe season 1 part one boxed set for only $12!!!!!!!! I jumped on that faster than you could say Yo Joe!!!!!!!! All the discs were in good shape and it still had all the inserts and animation cel included.

I know piracy is bad and all, but I got a set similar to what Copperhead33 got at a comic show. I got the whole Sunbow & DIC series for about $70. The quality is pretty good (not as good as the Sunbow discs, but almost) and it's every episode.

I tried bidding on the on ebay and I would get outbid. The sets would go for $80-$100 each. Too rich for me. I watch them all the time and love it. Money well spent.

I would buy piracy because there is no legit version for me to buy. If it were for sale in stores I would buy the one in stores over the piracy one. But when all there is out there are piracy ones selling for a good price or the old Rhino ones selling for about $100 a season.....I am buying the piracy one, sorry.

Now I just need to find a good quality piracy copy to buy.

Also if you don't already know you can watch all of the seasons of GI Joe including the Mass device and The weather Dominator and also the terrible dic cartoons all at Online videos: Watch video clips and TV online free | Veoh Video Network just type in "GI Joe s1" for the 1st season and "GI Joe s2" for the second.

Same here... bought the Sunbow series at a weekly toy/comic/card/dvd show in So Cal for $100 and the DIC series for $20 @ Comic-Con this past July.

It won't stop me from buying the legit stuff if it's ever re-released though!
