in a word I thought these sets are "corny" but it may just be the packaging. I can see why people pass them up for 25.00....funny I bought an extra set to trade with people on here that couldnt get them and I cant even get people to trade for them. Hope the rest get better

I like the packs, easy army builders. 5 single carded figs cost the same as the 5-packs, plus I like having a SE in his orginal proposed colors from 1982.

I'm really not impressed by any of the TRU sets I've seen so far, but I do plan on picking up the GIJoe Senior ranking officers to get Grunt and Hawk.

The rest I'll pass unless they go to clearance.

I thought about getting these, but I too am not sure if I want to spend that kind of money. The NW set does look cool, and I would like some Red Ninjas. I guess only time will tell, and if I feel like spending the money on them. I don't think these will be as hard to find as some others.

Why would greenshirts be trying to shoot Beach Head?? They are on the same team.

I myself am not a big fan of 5 packs or three packs or even comic two packs. The best part of the whole 25th series is the nostalgia behind them and you don't get that with the multi packs. The fact that these 5 packs are exclusive to TRU though make them important for mere collectability alone. It has taken me weeks to find them and I didn't hesitate to drop the 50 bucks on them. Are they super cool aesthetically? Not really, but they are super cool that they are exclusives and pretty damn tough to find.
