So are we expecting the "International" carded wave 5 to be rare?

I was reading about the so called "International" carded wave 5 figures on another site.

According to that site, and I think I read something here as well, the wave 5 carded figures without art are going to be the only ones like that. Can anyone confirm this? According to the report Hasbro is going to go with a standard card with GIJOE art and COBRA art on the front for future International figures. As well they were going to release wave 6 in Canada on US cards to get figures up here.

I can confirm the wave 6 part having found some myself at a local Walmart, but I was just wondering about the future waves of International carded figures.

It was mentioned in the recent Joe Canuck (a Canadian Joe Website/Forums) newsletter.

The link was posted here (I believe) a week or two ago. I'll see if I can dig it up.

It mentions how Hasbro is trying to meet the demand in Canada for the 25th line by releasing more figures (for now) on US cards and then general Joe and Cobra cards instead of the "missing card art" like they are currently (for wave 5 only)

Sure, the cards are sinfully ugly, but definitely unique. I still giggle to myself when I see The Big H's attempt at a tri-lingual logo...printed on friggin' post-it stickies lol. Gotta give'em credit though, they at least got figures in Canada! :salute:
