| | Behind Enemy Lines Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 345 | I agree whole heartedly with your reviews with the exception of the rank thing. It all depends on which branch of service you're talking about. In the AF, however, an E-5 IS a SSgt. It is the first tier in the NCO rankings. Back in the day, an E-4 was called a "buck Sgt". Now an E-4 is a "Senior Airman". I'm not sure what the Army's rankings are but I'm pretty sure they're similar. |

That is true also. I made E-4 Specialist back in 1997, but yes you are right, it could mean corporal too... |
