So before we see what we are actually getting @ Toyfair, how about we all take a stab at what we might think we'll see or hope & want out of the new DVD Battle Packs in 2008!!
My likely Predictions (as some repaints/retools are inevidable) &/or possible Wish List...

3. Snake-Eyes (radioactive) & Timber
4. Scarlett (new head) / Covergirl (blonde)

Revenge of Cobra
1. Flint (new arms seen on TF Flint/cartoon colors)
2. Lady Jaye (no hat/cartoon colors)
3. Mutt & Junkyard
4. Zartan (classic)

Pyramid of Darkness
1. Alpine
2. Bazooka (repaint)
3. Quick-Kick
4. Dusty

Arise, Serpentor, Arise
1. Dr. Mindbender
2. Serpentor (classic)
3. General Hawk (ver 2)

Sheesh, if your list ended up being %100 accurate that would be very nice indeed! I am somewhat glad that SW is light in OT figures this year because GI Joe is going to be expensive this year. And I swore I wouldn't get the new IJ figures.....but I know I'll cave in on those. Anyways, I have no idea who would be in these DVD packs (I don't remember who was in each episode of the cartoon) but I am sure I will end up buying all of them up.

al gd suggestio. i'll buy whatever they put out to be honest. the comic packs were nice for me but my kids aren't interested in comics, sad, i know but they will watch dvd's over and over. my 3yr old loves gi joe the movie. soon i'll have more classics to enjoy withhim that and i get to display the associated figures as an added bonus! one set for me (moc), one set for my son to play with/watch dvd. i could not be happier abotu this bit of news!

For the MASS Device set, I wouldn't mind seeing "Gladiator" Duke and either the slave girl, or the Giant guy.

Or even Flint and Mutt in Cobra disguise.

You pretty much nailed it for me Steel Brigade, but I'll take Blonde Cover Girl in the Mass Device set over Scarlett. Always wanted that CG in figure form.

Most importantly Hasbro, give us The Sarge! Even if he's just called "Sarge" maybe Hasbro can get away with it. Hopefully Vince McMahon won't be a d*ck about this.

Honestly, there are to many figures it could be. I wouldn't even know where to start. I like every list i have seen so far. It will be interesting to see what hasbro has in store for us...

I think those lists look great (I've always wanted an "animated" Flint). However, for the purposes of realism, you might want to make sure that one Snake Eyes repaint, one Storm Shadow repaint (even though he played minor to non-existent roles in those cartoons), and one Cobra Commander repaint is included with each DVD.

Then, the last character might even have a new head sculpt!

I would be pretty happy with Steel Brigade's list. Hopefully Toy Fair will shed some light on what is to come.
