As for the "Anger Factor".....My friend, this is the best advice I can give to you:
Learn how to smuggle things in to your own home.
Know her pattern...make sure packages are delivered then. Always ensure that you collect the mail so that any "package waiting" slips are recovered before she finds them. The last thing you want is for her to go to the PO to pick up a package, only to see that it's more toys for you.
Remember, everything is "for trade". Practice these sayings:
"No, hun, I didn't buy this for me. A buddy asked me to get it because he can't find it. I'm going to trade him when he finds something I want."
"babe, you know that I wouldn't spend money on such silly stuff with a wedding on the way."
"Didn't YOU just buy ____? don't harrass me because I just spent $4.88 plus tax to do a friend a favor."
Mind you...this will only buy you a small window. Your next line of defense?
PO Box.
You heard NONE of this from me.
That is all. Carry on. | Your smuggling idea is great. I use this method. I take my lunch to work. I go past Wal-Mart every evening. I can easily fit four figures in it. If Wal-Mart has anything(which they typically do not) I can get the Joes in without her batting an eye. She told me if I don't stop buying them, she wants me to move out. HAHA

Hey C.I.A.D. your getting married soon, how do you manage to keep the shock factor down? | |

Yes, But you know how long it will take me to open those...I have 39 of the Storm Shadows opened...33 of the Stinger guys opened and around 30 of the Air Troopers...I sell all the Cobra Troopers so I have none of those opened currently. Maybe one of these days I will open more...I just opened my Zartan and dreadnoks yesterday...I'm slow!

Makes me want to open those rocket crates, and set my own up fpr a photo op.
Wow, smuggling?
I giess I am luckier than I thought.
My girlfriend isnt a collector, but she really appreciates the efforts I put into my hobbies.
Hell, in fact, she's helping me rennovate the largest room in my house into a GI Joe and Transformer themed toy room. (pics to come in the next few weeks, as soon as the mural is done)
