NO!!!!

Not only were these figures so bad, they gave us the absolute WORST Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Zartan and Scarlett.

It was a true sign that the end was coming.

I feel the storm shadow would be a great place to start with this series, many have seen the custom that was shown on this site of it and it rocks. Way better than the fifty repaints of v1 ss we have been getting.

The Storm Shadow from this series was my last Joe purchase (with a three/four year hiatus). At the time I bought him because I was visiting my friends from the G.I. Joe days. Thought I'd stroll the Toys R Us one last time.

There are several DOZENS of characters that deserve 25th treatment before they start doing ninja force stuff. The ideas were.....cool. The executions were horrible.

now your talkin, im a big fan of slice and dice, and larry hama wrote them well in the comic book. I have to say my favorite story arc of the marvel run was probably the ninja force series that went into the transformers series where scarlet and dr. biggles jones joined cobra to infiltrate them and scarlet had to stab snake eyes to make herself look legit as well as burn stalker and hawk to death in a fake vehicle fire. all the while destro and the baroness were on the run in the crawl spaces of castle destro. heck alongside the ninja force i would love to see dr. biggles jones get a figure. the follow up to the ninja force series the joe/transformers g2 crossover got me loving the transformers all over again.

I'd only like to see Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, T'JBang, Nunchuk, Slice, and Dice but the others, heck no.

At some point they will be mixing in some figures from the 1987 through 1994 era. I mean we have already gotten ig destro and camo storm shadow from 1988 and peppermint storm shadow from the VvV era, There is no reason we could not get some of these figures starting with the storm shadow which wouldn't need many additions to make. These figures were not all bad, Like i have stated before some of you from the early joe era hate the late joe era, when that was the jumping on point for many of us. A small sampling from every year should be in each wave. I think we are starting to see that with the ig destro and the Upcoming Battle armer cobra commander from 1987. I like that they are mixing it up a bit instead of just reproing one entire year at a time.
