valor vs venom
my local dollar general for some reason just got these in, and for 2 bucks each, you cant beat it! we hunted 3 different stores in a mile 5 radius and scored 10 different figures, they arent as great as the 25th figs, but some of them look pretty damn cool. just a thought to hold over your empty handed blues........
btw im in pittsburgh, pa......... |

But any recommended figures? |

Also I saw the Valor vs. Venom 2-pack with Heavy Duty and Razorclaw at a Wal-Mart shortly after Christmas. I found that to be very odd.

There's quite a few, including a few really nice repaints of:
Sand Viper (black/gold/red)
Alley Viper II (red/black/gray)
Tele Viper (blue/purple/orange)
They all come with pretty much the same weapon, lol.
Come to think of it, there were/are at least 15 different figures. If you keep hunting, you might also find repacked vehicles, such as the:
Skysweeper Jet
Cobra Motorcycle/Sidecar (forget the name)
Cobra Ring-something (again, forget the name)
Both Joe/Cobra Mechs
Joe Battle Blitz (green, not tan)
Either way, there's still a lot to be discovered, McKee. Happy hunting! |

We don't even have a WM, Target, or anything of the sort. From the two dollar stores, I came away with SE, Kamakura, Ace, Dusty, 4 x Tele-viper, & 5 x Sand Viper. They had lots of SS, Baroness, blue Night Creepers too.
I too greatly enjoyed the thrill of finding Joes on the pegs, even if they were 3 years old. Like someone said, how can you go wrong with $2 Joes?!?! I don't know why I needed even more Televipers, but at $2 it's hard to leave them behind.... |

But was dissappointed all I could find was the Valor Vs Venom ones mentioned. I loaded up on Tele Vipers, Night Creepers and of course Sand Vipers. At the tune of 20 a piece. Also I found 4 spytroops these were SE, Zartan, Duke and Dr Mindbender. In addition I found two two packs of Valor joes one Overkill Vs Duke and Slice and Slash. But that is all I've been able to find. I have to literally drive all over to find one two pack. Any more I figure if I have to go to more than a couple of stores it cheaper to Ebay them because of gas and time. |
