Basically, what are your thoughts on having comic packs that include a vehicle and figure rather than just figures?
As was stated, there have been vehicles on card with figures before (97 trouble bubble/viper) and other vehicles like the CLAW or Mirage that could also be done on card. So it is possible to do. Should Hasbro try that route to get more use out of figure molds while upping the vehicle count, instead of just going with repaints (mostly) for the comic packs? |

Wouldn't mind a proper Viper Glider with a pilot, too. |

The addition of vehicles would be a plus. Either the smaller vehicles we all love or how about this. Similar to what is done with some of the comic style action figures by having a piece of another action figure in a pack, have a piece of a vehicle per comic pack. I'm not sure what vehicle would work best though. You buy all of the packs and put together a nice little vehicle too. Vroooommm!!! |

I think it could work fairly well if they package the smaller vehicles like the carded Transformers. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea.
CLAWs, SNAKEs, JUMP Packs, RAMs, FANGs and the like would work nicely!!!

Oh you said it!!
One thing I missed in my above post. I think the timing of a 2nd round of comic packs released around the time of Doc's shipment could be themed towards saving/rescuing Doc. "Doc is saved!!!" The reason you buy all of the packs is to get all of the pieces of the vehicles or whatever... |

NONONONONONONONO........I repeat, No "Build a Figure" Vehicle whatever. BAF (Build a Figure) are evil. How many of you have decided to wait for wave 2 of the comic packs, so you can get DOC but not have to buy the Duke and Snakes sets? That's what will happen. You'll have to buy figures you don't want, just to get one you do want.
The only way I see a BAF working well, would be if you included small playsets that work on their own, but they can be combined with other playsets to make a bigger one. That way, if you don't want the playset or figure that comes with it, you don't HAVE to buy it
Now, the Idea of a figure with a small vehicle or small playset......That's friggin genius! I LOVE that idea and I'd buy every single one of them. |

Polar Battle Bear (w/Snowjob), Sky Hawk (maybe too big??), Armadillo, Night Landing (with EELS: ) and the Ferret all would be possibilities...

I also agree with Shogi about the playsets as opposed to a Build-A-Vehicle. Small playsets that can stand alone or be combined/recombined into larger playsets rocks! I say bring it on. Bring on the small vehicles listed above as well. |
