Why is Flint usually priced high?

I saw a flint on the peg at walmart yesterday. The day before they had only comic packs, but if he's there today when I go, I'll pick him up and then see who wants him.

Right before Christmas I saw Flint going for astronomical prices on the internet, but I found him everywhere. Most of the stores are still bare from the holidays, but I'm about to go looking for the latest wave at lunch. I'll see if there are any out there.

I picked up the one at walmart. it's got a slight crease above the j, but if anyone wants it, let me know.

I found one on eBay the other night for $6.95...it was from a local seller, too. I was very excited as I didn't really know about the 25th anniversary figures right away and missed the boat on the 1st wave.
