AMEN!...i thought all we could all talk about was no more repaints, so is this really what we want?...of course not!..."REPAINT" your own PP style for now if you want em so bad...i for one would love to see new figs with maybe reused parts at the most...it'd be like getting another Snake Eyes...HA!

I'd love to see Python Patrol, but like everyone has stated I'd want it to be further down the line after we get standard releases, we still need a normal copperhead and tele-viper for the 25th line. As for vehicles, well same as above, give us standard then give repaints.

I agree with many of the posts here: with Hasbro aknowledging they're going to switch to movie-related properties in '09, I'm already regretting starting to collect these figures. One can almost guarantee we won't be getting rereleases of characters like Recondo, Dusty, Airtight, Shockwave, and Alpine, to name a few; isn't that what got so many of us back into collecting Joes? To have better versions of our favorite characters?

It's already painfully apparent Hasbro loves to repaint existing figures, and they're a virtual wellspring of repaint ideas. As much as I would love to see Python Patrol figures again, I know it'd only prevent us from seeing different, unreleased characters, which I'm sure we're all waiting for more than special teams or groups.

No Python Patrol, Tiger Force or any of the other pointless repaints that were used to extend the line.

I'll take as many 25th as they can squeeze out in 2008, then hopw to God that the movie doesn't suck as badly as Transformers did.

repaints are lame. focus on bringing out all the originals, and then the '83-'86 lines

as long as they make up to 87 first, I'll be happy, if they start making the stuff after 87, then I say bring on the special repaints (Nightforce, python, etc)

Just about all the figures after 87 were lame.
