New toy ideas for when the movie arrives

I was thinking today while i was working(target) and backstocking the star wars galatic heroes figures that it would be so awesome to have gi joe done in this style. What do you all think? I can just see the snake eyes and storm shadow 2 pack and even scenes done like in the star wars ones.

You got me thinking. Ya know what would kill? Apart from the shitload of 3 3/4 stuff we'll be getting, wouldn't it be awesome to finally get some collector-oriented 12'' figures? Sideshow could handle it. They could make toon/comic/toyline based figs and also movie-based ones. I'd kill for an extremely detailed 12'' Cobra Commander. Among others.

As for the 3 3/4 line. We'll get the usual: single figs, 2 packs, multipacks (including something like Star Wars: Evolutions). Vehicles, maybe a couple playsets. Role-play stuff.

But, as I said... they owe us some high-quality 12'' figures of classic characters. Imagine a Snake Eyes loaded with shit, ala DRAGON/MEDICOM/HOT TOYS/younameit

I was actually going to custom bash a 12" snake eyes for myself since that can easily be done...since BBI, Hot Toys, etc parts can easily make him looking like the real life snake eyes if I ever saw one..

Well, it looks like we'll be getting 12'' figs sooner than expected:

"12” Action Figures
A Real American Hero will once again be visiting the 1/6 scale action figure market with both a basic series and a deluxe assortment. Collectors can expect many of their favourite Joes and Cobras represented in this line."

On one hand, I'm concerned about the amount of detail and overall quality, because it's Hasbro we're talking about, and we know they will have to cut costs if their 12'' line is to have any chance at retail.

On the other hand, who knows? Maybe we'll finally get decent "classic" versions of our beloved characters in the 12'' scale. I'm sure Sideshow or others could do a better job, but then, at what price?
