My brother Powered Convoy & I tried to stick a 25th Trooper in the Red HISS Tank from a while back last night & he didn't fit. I've also noticed that the footpeg holes in the 25th Joes are a different size than the originals... & we are getting 3 vehicles as target exclusives... Who thinks the alterations are going to be made so that:
A. Figures included will actually fit in Target released classic vehicles.
B. Footpegs will be modified so the 25th Joes can actually use them?
Thoughts?

I've gotten the Officer to fit into my old school Hiss but it took a lot to jam him in there and his feet stuck up a bit. But technically he fit ;) |

Do you remember the speeders Hasbro gave us from Attack of the Clones? Zam Wessel had to be crammed inside flat on her (it's?) back to fit inside her speeder, and Anakin and Obi-wan couldn't fit into the cockpit of the other speeder no matter how hard you tried. If there's anything the modern Star Wars line has proven, it's that Hasbro lost the concept that figures and vehicles should be made to interact a long time ago.

One of our mods here, Shogi, successfully put some of the figures into the Hiss tank. He did say its a tight fit.

With those Star Wars speeders, Hasbro was gonna go back and make figures to fit in the vehicles, but that last line of Attack of the Clone fig's got cancelled, they were gonna be a exclusive. Hasbro said at the Con, the driver would fit in the Hiss, but it would be a tight fit. Crankcase, they said, is the one who is gonna be a problem. A 'tight fit" is still a fit to Hasbro. |
