Man, I've always dreamed of being able to do that! |

So apparently they are either not doing their jobs, or they're just some real morons. Third, you will still get to explain your situation. Just becuase some random stranger is accusing you of doing something shady, doesn't mean everyone is going to believe said stranger. | GREAT JOB!!
I am glad he got to sweat it over his attempt to steal. I hope they brought charges against him, unlikely though.
I must say I agree with this totally, I look the package over carefully to make sure no lamo has messed with it. I haven't seen any repackaging around here, I guess were lucky around here. |

I picture "The Breakers", a horder of Breaker clones that Firefly has to fight off.

If I had seen that guy I probably would have just shook my head in disgust and walked away thinking the guy was less than dirt, however, you took it a step further and actually called the guy out while he was standing there with the cashier!! For that, you deserve the collector no-prize of the week! Good job, sincerely. :-) |

Twice now with this line, I have had to return an item after realizing it was tampered with. Someone like you would have raised a red flag on me before I even had a chance to explain the situation to customer service. | By the OP doing what he did - you DONT NEED TO BE IN LINE RETURNING TAMPERED SHIT..
the OP did the right job.. and by him doing so - people wont need to worry about seeing tampered and switched product on the shelf.. I think you should give him praise not scolding.
Great Job OP
