UBP or ultimate rip off

so what does everyone think of this now that its out?
i picked one up today, and was looking at it, (have not opened it yet) and i hope there is a bag with lots of parts in it...
as far as the pack itself, i like it, neat diorama, three vehicles, seven figures...not bad for the money...plus we get short-fuze (would have liked him on single card), clear visor for steeler, and a motorized mobat...i was half expecting hasbro to rip the guts out of it...i also like the cobra vehicle gunner, nice...over all i like this one.....cant wait for my boys to open it up

They should have gone to the trouble of making the mini-turret a little deeper so that the driver can be further recessed in it.

Steeler and Short-Fuze have yet to receive their proper 25th treatment imo. Disappointing.

The bright red HISS will be...i dunno, Cobra's idea of a fire truck with water cannons?

The Vehicle gunner is cool, and I even like the masked CC and his personal Flight Pod.

Hmmm, let's see. It might be a great deal if someone were new to collecting these toys and didn't already flight pods, HISS tanks and multiple variations of destro and cobra commander. The only items worth anything in this set are the mobat and short fuze. That said, they are not worth $65. So my vote would be for ultimate rip off.

The piece I liked most out of this set was Stalker. After that, the MOBAT. I took the CC and replaced his head with the V1 darker blue mask... looks pretty sweet. Everything else I've sold or traded off. Now that I think of it, I could've saved myself the hassle and maybe some money if I had waited for other people to sell their parts. Oh well though, I helped people get what they want.

It's great for kids or starter collectors, but at $62.99 you aren't really getting a deal. Honestly I thought the mobat was not really a big plus. I would have rather had it 10 bucks cheaper without the mobat. The trub bub is the only really outstanding part of this set.

i dunno, at $50 i was sold even though i only want a few figures and the Crimson Hiss but for $63 i'm feeling less inclined.

Stalker, Shorfuze, and the Gunner are badass. Stalker is the best of the pack.

I agree that this set was disappointing, but I noticed that everyone agrees that the RED HISS is stupid yet when ever a sears exclusive one from the old days shows up on ebay the price goes into the hundreds!!!!! The only reason I rushed out and got one is I figure Hasbro raised the price once, it might even go up again before its official release.

Ultimate ripoff. All I (and many others) wanted was Short-Fuze. Is there any word if he's going to come out as a single?

Now that I have it in hand, I agree that Stalker is the best version so far. I also like the Destro from this set. To me, it's a step between the original and IG Destro. In fact, I look at the red HiSS, driver and gunner all as precursors to the true Iron Grenadiers and will probably set them up to fill in the lacking IG ranks.

I wish the set had stayed around the $50 mark as well, but given the amount of stuff you get, 63 bucks isn't bad.
