speaking of that dusty...I just picked up the ASA set at walmart last weekend and he didnt' come with the webgear and his helmet is glued in place. I could have sworn I saw photos on here that show him with a removable helmet...what's up with that?

I got a loose Dusty from a fellow Tanker and the helmet came off easily. I got the Pack from HTS and Dusty had no web gear, but I found a pack today and WM and this Dusty did have the web gear.

Sounds like a quality issue. I hope it's fixed by the time he rolls into my area.

yeah when i saw the pack on the shelf I had to do a double take because I've been to just about every WM and Target in So Cal
and they just have the usual same ol same ol!!! Then I was like
"what the deuce, the ASA pack?" I was bummed that it didn't have the webgear but I still had to pick it up because I knew I probably wouldn't find it again

Dusty's helmet is NOT GLUED IN PLACE. On some of them, the plastic from the helmet gets stuck to the painted hair. I think that the paint isn't completely dry when the helmet is being placed on it.

Whatever the reason, it's important to remember that this toy is not the Holy Grail and it's not made of rice paper or glass. My friend argued that his Dusty was glued so I went to his place and pulled the helmet off and handed the toy to him. He said, "Oh, wow! Thanks! I was afraid I would break it."

My reply, "And now you know." ;-)

just to clarify, when people say webgear for Dusty, is it that brown cloth that comes down from the back of his helmet?
