| The first boxed set, with Duke, Roadblock, etc. Snake Eyes wasn't a light gray, more of a charcoal. (It's the same Snake Eyes that was relreleased on a card, repainted black, in one of the earlier '08 waves.) Definitely not black.
I have to agree with one of the responses above. Good point -- the figure no doubt will be released eventually in a black repaint (after all, like I said, Hasbro "corrected" themselves once already), and the Hall of Heroes seems like a good bet. I hadn't thought of that. I'm not disappointed with the current figure, to be clear -- I just think a deep black repaint would kick raw hind end. |
