How do you display carded 25th/Modern Joes?

I do it this way:

In rows by waves, Joes first in order of my perception of character importance to the franchise, then COBRAs organized the same way:

For example, Waves 1-3 are like this:

Snake-Eyes
Storm Shadow
Flint
COBRA Commander
COBRA Officer

Lady J
Beachhead
Serpentor
Buzzer
COBRA Trooper

Stalker
Shipwreck
Zartan
Firefly
Red Ninja

Does anyone display them retro, like they have the 1982 characters together, then the '83, '84, etc. with the new ones like the Red Ninja and Air Trooper thrown in somewhere? I've thought of this but I like to keep the 25th cards and the Modern cards separate.

MOC on the wall set based on GO JOE opposite Cobra in equal rows of ranking officers to grunts.

Cobra Opened- set in units based on rank/class/environment

Joes opened- set based on environment and rank and possible scenarios with the opposing cobras (TBD)

Carded are pinned on the wall, no particular order. Loose are either bagged with accessories or displayed as I have room/need.

I got no room. they're packed in comicbook long boxes. with modern backboards and silver age bags. Loose figs in individual ziplocks. They will be free to roam free one day. The hardware is just... everywhere. I should open those officer three packs. they really don't fit anywhere.
