I'm pretty happy with the choice of vehicles they pulled: the original HISS is the least sci-fi looking tank for Cobra and a great size (i did love the Hiss mk IIs troop carrier ability) and while overall i think I'd ahve preffered Black, the Blue is accurate to the comics and should look really nice with the 25th cobra troops riding shotgun. i'd have done the driver up in the airbourne trooper helmet in grey, would have been a nice variation. I'll likely get 2 unless something else is announced.

The AWE striker is nice and makes a good vehicle for the Joes ~ i'm not sure why my bro and i never had one when we were kids, but it's a nice alternative to the VAMPs (which are fine, just a tad generic) I've got my 25th Joes hangin' with a DTC Night OPs Hummvee i picked up @ the HTS fire sale in prep for the 25th line, so i'll get one of these to compliment it. nice that Crankcase gets a new head. (did he have a beard in the cartoon? the deco's pretty dang spot-on, impressively so to the OG)

the not-sharc just kind of makes me go "huh" it's just not that great a vehicle, and seems even more silly in that deco. and a bummer you'ld have to buy it too get Grand Slam. An easier pass since he's going to be a straight repaint.

i would like to see some nice weathering on these like the Star Wars ships get, make 'em look a bit more rugged. I'd also prefer the logos (at least) be tampo'd on ~ G1 Transformer reissues made me realizee tha tthinking stickers were 'better' was mostly nostalgia :p

What comes to your mind when you think of the sharc? Grandslam? Hell no... DEEPSIX period

Grandslam=HAL or Jump not sharc...good gief

I still think it is not a great idea to release Grandslam with the 1.Sharc(1984) 2.Night Shade(1988) 3.Sky Sharc(1990) 4.Wave Crusher(2001)......or whatever the new name will be. I still think they should have released Deepsix with it...not GrandSlam. Even though GrandSlam can fly he will always be associated with the HAL or Jump(fly) to me and not a sub/jet. Unless he changed his MOS! HAHAHAHAAHAHA
I'll still get GrandSlam but not with that vehicle/combo purchase.

Other Joe's have also been seen navigating the "whatever name that thing is" in the cartoons such as Snake Eyes, Torpedo, Roadblock, Deep Six, Flint, Lady Jaye, Shipwreck, and Wet-Suit. Now imagine Roadblock or Snake Eyes being released with it...LOL

As for the AWE Striker..I'm all over that! Even though it looks like Crankcase grew a beard. The '85 Crank just had a stache. Well I'm glad they brought him back from the dead. Thank goodness they didn't release it as the Eco Striker...now that would have sucked.

As for the HISS..just one for me. I'd prefer it was also black. But hey I have a couple black ones already. And with the many variations of the HISS out there, this will be a weebit different....

Love the details on Crankcase. I wonder though, should Hasbro makes the vehicles, are they gonna entirely upgrade the vehicles as they did with the figures. I sure hope so because the 25th figures looks a bit off from the original vehicles. In terms of materials and finishes.

The vehicles reissued are just reissues with no upgrades.

Say, anyone else notice that Crankcase has Shippy's right fist? How the heck is he gonna grab the wheel and shoot at the same time?

His upper body is Shippy and the lower is Cobra Trooper/Officer.

Good luck attempting to fit the driver in that HISS tank. I attempted to do just that with my vintage Hiss, and a Cobra trooper. He doesn't fit in the cockpit well at all. :(

Really? The only problem I had was with the pants legs that come out of the boots being slightly too wide

I think the cockpit is just too narrow. I couldn't even get the lid to fit over the trooper's head. I suppose if I forced the figure in. I just don't want to do that and end up breaking my figure.
