About Black mask Destro...

Everyone is saying this is the variant of the next wave comic packs, but if you head over to Entertainment Earth, you'll see that the breakdown per case include x2 Destro/IG packs. So, don't you think that would mean one of each?

i dunno, i would expect that to mean there are 2 regular gold headed destro/ig CPs per case, and the black headed ones would still be short packed.

Hmm...That would make it 1 in every 120 packs, I don't think it'll be that over-the-top.

I'm still thinking one of each, and more people will grab the black, making it the 'variant'.

I was thinking more along the line of 1 and 1 until they revise the case assortment, then they will drop the Black head. Kinda like what they did with yellow stalker.

I was under the impression that the black head will be loose in all of the packages. Just not attached to the body but I guess I'm wrong

This was my original thought but it was confirmed at Con that the black helmet would be the variant.

However, someone had the idea of having BOTH heads in the package, but the variant part being which one was actually fitted on the body.

I keep my collection MOC. If they are realesing it with both head, thats would great . As long as I can peel the tae back and switch head . Shouldn't be too hard. I did it to get the Doc stickers. Why wouldn't hasbro just make him with a black head only? OR make hum with a black head in the IG officer pack. now we ar stuck all these destro's.

Let's think back to the wave 1 single cases. There were the 5 regular figures plus an extra SE, SS & CC in some cases the SE had a Black Timber but in most it was just 2 Grey Timbers

This was the only time there was an actual variant that came out WITH the regular figure and not an error or production change

I'm gonna say the majority of the cases will have 2 Gold Destros
