First I thought we might be getting both heads in the package to change at our discretion as an accessory. Second I thought maybe the black head was just an unpainted pre-production part so they just put a gold head from the Blade Destro there for reference which the final production version would have. As far as the whole variant idea I never thought of it that way because I don't ever remember Destro having a black mask, unless he did sometime during the DDP comics. | |
