The price hike may mean more casual buyers will drop off. I hope that doesn't mean I will only find more cobra commanders in the future. If Target has what I am looking for, I will buy there. They've been pretty lacking lately so I am not holding my breath.

I love to be given half the chance to buy Joes in the highstreet and wouldn't gripe at the cost even if it did get bumped up a few times.

Sadly, Target is about the only semi-reliable place for Joes up here. TRU is very hit or miss, and only takes up part of an end cap...kind of like they are an afterthought.

So yes, I'll pay $7.99 if needed. I won't pull the trigger on every new guy I see though, and this will definitely (sp?) make me think twice about borderline purchases.

Target is now a last resort because Wal-Mart will price match and they are $5.99 at KMart and $6.99 at Toys R Us, both of which are lower than Target and if WalMart raises because of Target, they are still lower.
