Target is just the first to raise their prices amongst the retailers. I'm somewhat certain this had something to do with the resets and constant communication with Hasbro regarding upcoming exclusives.
Target will always get my business because I've had nothing but great experiences from customer service, inside info and impeccable distribution. For those that used the $5 coupon tactfully, in $25 increments, if you continue to buy G.I. Joe product in the same fashion you'll breakeven in two or three months.
Funny, I can honestly say I'd be willing to pay $10 a figure before I start changing my collecting habits. I know this to be true because I will be troop building IG's and CC's from the comic packs. That's 13 CP's total not to mention $15 for Cutter, $15 for Starduster, $20 for Quick Kick and $20 for Dusty.
It's unfortunate that our economy is slowly but surely eradicating the middle class. From gas prices, dairy products and now our valued Joe collection.
