How many of you are selling off your Vintage Joe's?

Just wondering, how many of you out there are selling off your Vintage Joe's from the 80's and early 90's?

I have become a very avid collector of the new 25th Anniversary Line.

Had it not been for the advent of the 25th line I probably would have not got back into collecting Joe's

I have a lot of vintage Joe's dating back from about 86 to 92.

So my question for everyone is. How many of you out there have sold off your older Joe's for the New Anniversary Line?

I'm actually thinking of doing the opposite. I find myself searching ebay for vintage joes more than anything else, and have been thinking of selling of the carded 25th's to fund it and only keeping the loose ones.

I am in the process of placing weapons with their respective figures and cards where applicable, just so I can fund more of my 25th line and also to army build. I probably have 200+ vintage ARAH Joes.

I sold my vintage stuff and most recently got $1400 for my MISB Night Raven. I was never going to open it anyway and the profit allowed me to further my 99.9% complete 25th habit.

I would not sell off my vintage joes to fund my 25th hunger. There will always be joes on ebay so I patiently build my armies. Whenever I find my army building needs I pick up all up.

Sacrilige!!!!!

No way in hell. It took me too long to get what I have and I would not sell now or in the future. My ARAH collecting has stopped but I wont sell it.

No, I'm in the process of rebuilding my original vintage collection which is harder than I thought after my 83-96 solid collection suffered from my nephews attack of 10 years ago. While I got back into collecting from the new stuff I still love the vintage figures.

25th has pretty much just made me want to get into vintage collecting. I've had the same set of 80s/90s Joes since I bought/received them as a kid, and I'll likely start to fill in some gaps of wanted figures once the 25th collecting ends (whenever that is, Hasbro will probably decide that for me).

That's totally awesome that you guys are keeping the faith with the ARAH stuff. I'm not actively collecting them, but I could never imagine parting with what I do have.

I have a sickness or form of OCD in that once I see a better version, I find the older stuff unnecessary unless it holds a sentimental place in my collection like my MOSC V1 & V2 Storm Shadows do. This is just with toys, not cars or anything else. Ok, maybe cell phones.
