I'm one of the rare ones that don't have no problem mixing the ARAH and 25th/Modern stuff. While truth be told I'd not have ended up with as many ARAH figs had the Bro relaunched Joe this way back in the early 2000's, I don't particularly regret it.

It was them TRU COBRA Soldier six-packs that sucked me in. I did Star Wars mostly 'til then.

Same here, but the majority of my joes came from the tru six packs, and the 00-01 series.
I know I had 2 ninja six packs, 10 urban cobra sets, 2 segie sets, 2 segie shadow guard sets, and about 6 of the cobra infantry sets.

lol.

Plus, I got 12 of the crimson viper, black dragon troopers, swamp vipers, IGs and Iron Anvils.

I am highly wanting to sell them all off, to fund my 25th troop building disease.

Surprisingly, I have not sold any of my vintage since the debut of the 25th line.

Well, my whole reasoning about getting ready to sell off my ARAH stuff is mainly because of the little one in my sig and av.
I don't really have the extra cash to be spending on stuff like I would like.
I come to the conclusion that I will sell off my old figures, to pay for my new ones.
I had fun collecting them for the past 10 years, but the new style of the 25th figures is just beyond words.
I could always just leave them in storage, and raid them for their weapons...lol.

Thanks for the fast response everyone.

I love my old GI Joe's. I don't think I can sell them all off.

I have sold some of my older stuff, but just the stuff I really did not care for. I think you guys know what I mean, you know the era where GI Joe went "Rainbow Bright" (no offense to fans)

I really do not have the extra money to fund my 25th line. That is why I was thinking of selling my vintage stuff.

Well, I guess I will just stew on it for now and see what happens.

No way!
I'm really into the 25th stuff and have ultimately come to favour it over the many classic figures I own.

But, I still love my vintage collection and I know that to sell it would be folly. In a few months I'd regret the decision and start to try and build it up again. I'd have gained nothing from the sale.

i'm "lucky" in that i just got back into Joes with the 25th line, so i don't have to worry about duplicated figures and such (which would, indeed, drive me mental). i've acquired quite a few vintage figures since i've started collecting again, but only ones that have not received the 25th treatment. i will be getting rid of any vintage ones that i have if 25th versions are made.

I restarted collecting Gijoe a few month before 25th hits retail. I spend many many $$$ on ARAH. One year ago, i never tough than Hasbro release tons of new figures and now, it's very difficult to buy both of them because i'm an army builder.

Fortunately, i have almost all ARAH i wanted and now, i only buy some from time to time. I will not sell them for the new era figures because the vintage figures remember me to many great moments.
I will buy almost all new era figures and after the movies toys will be gone, i will restart to buy ARAH.

i love the old stuff and i have a few figz that i sought out to get cus i just had to have them but since i got back into g.i. joes by getting the 25th line stuff im just trying to get evrything 25th style right now cus i can only afford to do one right now.

but i still pick up sum of the older figz here n there on ebay.
so if i had a full older collection i wouldnt sell it cus im the type that dont get rid of anything once i collect sumthing i just cant part with it
