Overflow of Comic Packs? Love em' or Hate em'?

Anyone else have what seems to be TONS of Comic Packs warming the pegs? Whats strange is that you always hear of shortage issues when it comes to supply on the 25th stuff, yet i see Comic Packs everywhere. I know it's a bit more expensive then the singles which could be a factor, but i don't think thats the issue. Vehicles are as well, but those sell.

Maybe it's just my area who knows, but these things are either A) overproduced or B) not that popular. I'm thinking more along the lines of B). Personally aside from Tomax/Xamot they do nothing for me. I'm into the Retro RAH stuff that i grew up with and never cared for repaints and so forth, but that's just me. So are these things selling in your area?

On a side note, went to TRU today and noticed the Comic Packs now at $10.99. Not sure how long that has been in effect, but it's the first time I've seen it. TRU is horrible when it comes to getting singles, but they sure do love those Comic Packs.

I'd go with lack of popularity.

I think is pretty bad since now W3 is pegwarming hard. And those were pretty popular when they came out.

I still have to see w4 comic packs!

I'd like to see comic packs with more troop builder figures. Yes, the CG and Cobra Officer were cool, but that has been the only one so far.

I agree - I think they'd sell through quicker if they had two troop builders in them.

Targets around me are pretty sparse on comic packs, at most 3 or 4 between 4 pegs. Walmarts on the other hand range between moderate to overflowing on waves 1-3. Has me a bit worried about how easy it will be to get wave 4.

I thought wave 3 was awesome!! I can't wait for wave 4 but can't find it. Anywhere I look I see lots of wave 3. I thought they would have sold better, considering its mostly new characters, and no where near as bad as wave 1. I don't know if the stores are going through them and the stores are keeping demand up, but it looks like someplaces they are peggwarming.
I can't wait to see wave 5 painted. As far as wave 4 goes, I am looking more for copperhead, not so much the repainted shipwreck that should have been cutter. Also, not digging the firefly, the ninja sabotour should not be wearing the sweater look still and still having the skinny arms. They should have went with something closer to that custom we saw earlier. The stormshadow, i'm still baffled by this. They know we want the Devils due version but they are half assing it with this shirtless version. Same with serpentor, give us the full on devils due bad ass version or the v1, don't meet us half way with this crap. The hawk and red star look cool too, so I'll pick them up for sure. As for the trouble bubbles, when they come out, I would have bought alot more if it werent packed with the joe vehicle and figure, maybe if it was a green shirt to troop build a little.
Sorry for going off topic

On the one hand, I hate the darned things because Waves 1-3 are overflowing on the pegs. I'm sure this is the main reason I have yet to see any of Wave 4 ever. On the other hand, often times these are the only GI Joe figures on the pegs at all. I'd rather have some comic pack peg-warmers than empty pegs that could tempt Target or Wal-Mart to fill them up with some other crap.
