When I was at the joe con I got a chance to speak to one of the guys from Hasbro. I asked them the same question, they said it was down to 2 figures doc or cobra commanders son. Obviously they picked doc, they said the next mailaway will not be until next year.

You won't see one anytime soon because Vince McMahon owns the rights to the character, and as far as I know, Hasbro is in no talks to re-acquire the rights from the WWE.

I don't know about that one. He wrestled in other promotions as Sgt Slaughter. I think if you wrestled in a no longer existing wrestling company before WWE employment that you own the name.

Also, Hasbro can put out a toy called the Sarge or or Slaughter or something and get around legal aspect of using a copyrighted name.

And if they did that how would they be different from any other company that produces illegal knock offs? I could be wrong but I believe the rights are to the "likeness" not just the name of Sgt. Slaughter
