You know, Hasbro has stated before that the Flagg would be around $400 at cheapest.

I hadn't heard that, but doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Gas/Oil has risen 400%. The figures have almost risen 400% since the early 80's. So to say $400+ for the Flagg is not a shocker.

Hypothetically, I'd pay about $80 for a TD, but I'd pass on a Flagg or Defiant. I'd rather have a Pit playset.

i'd be willing to pay about $125 for a Terrordrome. I'd buy 2 if the price was $100 or less. As for the Flagg and Defiant, i'd probably be ok buying 1 of each if they were $300 or less. the problem for me is more one of space than money. i'm not rolling in dough or anything, but i think i can budget myself well enough to afford that much for those playsets. finding room to display them (or even just leave them in the box and store them) would be another issue...

I'd buy at least one of each.

I'd love to own a Terrordrome again (my parents threw away the one I had as a kid), but I just don't think it's something I can afford. More specifically, it's not something I can buy and then sneak into my toy room without the wife noticing. It's too damned big.

While I always wanted a USS Flagg (what kid didn't?) I never had any interest in the Defiant. An elite Anti-terrorist unit didn't belong in outer space in my Joe World.

Hasbro has the USS FLAGG molds.

Okay folks, not sure if this has already been confirmed but I have good news for all after the San Diego Comic Con today.

According to 25th Joe sculptor, Hasbro has the molds for the USS FLAGG!! Don't get excited just yet.

However, the sculptor mentioned that not ALL of the molds are present. The molds for the deck is not present:(

That said, the sculptor mentioned that if Hasbro should make one, this would cost approximately $500 bucks.

The original was retailed at $150. Who is willing to pay $500 bucks for a FLAGG.

You can count me in for $500 bucks!

That's good news, but there is no way I would buy one of these. Where would I put something so large? Besides, it wouldn't be the same as it was back when my brother and I owned it as kids. It would be more of a nuisance for me with the amount of space it would take up, then something I would enjoy like I did when I was a kid. So it would be a HUGE pass for me.

Doesn't surprise me about the price tag, though. Heck, the new Millenium Falcon is 150 dollars and it is a lot smaller than the Flagg; so it only makes sense that something 3.5X the size would be that much in price. Ahhh...inflation, gotta love it. Besides, other than collectors, I doubt very much the average kid could convince their parents to pony up 500 dollars for a toy.

I have to pass on that, $500 is just too much.

I could spend that on so many other things.
