Card Variants...Who's bothering??

With the running change to card backs from the 25th to the new style, are the MOC collectors out there bothering to get one of each type?

I probably will. It's enough of a change that it slightly grabbed my interest. Hopefully there won't be very many of them. And I wonder if the backs of the cards are changed as well?

I don't bother with the silly shinier logo versus plain silver logos though....that's not enough of a difference to get all ga-ga about.

I've gotten a few different Zartans (And I'm not even a MOC collector ) So far I think that's the only one that had a card variant (Also ignoring the shinier logo and such)

EDIT: Whoops, apparently I forgot about the Viper cards, yeah I got those too

I am not going after the foiled / unfoiled variants but I did buy about 3 different Zartans and have both of the Viper cards (which was by accident...)

Ive got everything on foil cardback except for the stuff that isnt supposed to be. Im not gonna rebuy figures because the foil is now missing from the card lol

I'll buy the foil and non-foil (white-back) but I won't bother with getting both shiny chrome and plain chrome versions.

I keep reading about revision cases. For those that collect MOC, take a look at Torpedo and Wild Bill. They will be on Wave 8 style cards. My thought is this: HISS Driver, all of Wave 6, and any other re-releases will not be on the old style card. This will make the originals more desirable. Get them now.

I'm really not a MOC collector but I can't bring myself to open the ones I got. I have doubles that I have got from other deals/people. But I won't be bothering the change and I will not get another Firefly just cuz it has some white borders.
